SUBJECT

This fuel pump is part of my pop-art image series. Though, the word “pop” does not refer to “trend culture”, rather the characteristic of the image feeling as though it were popping off the wall. The colors in this piece really pop!

TECHNICAL

This image was originally photographed using large format, 4×5” chrome film. The chrome positive was digitally scanned to make a high resolution image file which is further cleaned of imperfections and background color added. The final art becomes a blend of traditional photography and digital airbrushing techniques. Prints available on bare metal and white coated metal. Order a sample proof.
