SUBJECT

This film projector image is part of my pop-art image series. Though, the word “pop” does not refer to “trend culture”, rather the characteristic of the image popping off the wall. This image has extreme pop and detail from the super high resolving 4×5” film used to produce the image.

TECHNICAL

This image was originally photographed using large format, 4×5” negative film (Kodak Technical Pan Film). A master print was developed and chemical processed in the darkroom by hand. The master print was then digitally scanned to make a high resolution image file which is further cleaned of imperfections. The final art becomes a blend of traditional photography and digital airbrushing techniques. Prints available on bare metal and white coated metal. Order a sample proof.
