I love American retro signage. Sadly, these old signs are disappearing as the landscape and property ownership changes. This sign was located in Flint, Michigan and is now gone.

TECHNICAL

This image was originally photographed using large format, 4×5” negative film. A master print was developed and chemical processed in the darkroom by hand. The master print was then digitally scanned to make a high resolution image file which is further cleaned of dust and other imperfections. Additional artistic enhancement is also performed at this time. The final art becomes a blend of traditional photography and digital airbrushing techniques.
